Villa Turquoise is a luxurious, fully serviced and private villa in East African style on the pristine white beaches of Matemwe village. The house is situated in a large tropical garden and features a large pool and private beach area.
This luxurious villa is recently built in East African style with an impressive thatch roof and is fully equipped and serviced. The house is situated in a large tropical garden (ca. 10,000m²) with palm trees, oriental fruits and flowers and features a large swimming pool (5x10m). A large sundeck surrounds the pool and there are two more decks, one in the garden and one on the private beach. In front of the pool there is a private beach (ca. 80 meters wide) connecting directly to the lagoon and the Indian Ocean.
General Info:
Villa Turquoise offers full privacy ensuring a very relaxing holiday away from the crowds. The owners stay in the house every 3 months and have brought the level of comfort and luxury to the highest in East Africa.
The house sleeps up to 14 persons, there are 4 large air-conditioned bedrooms with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms and one large air-conditioned suite with two king-size beds, en-suite bathroom and private terrace. Two extra single beds can be put in any of the rooms.

Villa Turquoise is located right on the beach in Matemwe on the East coast of Zanzibar with stunning views over the Indian ocean.
The most beautiful beaches of Zanzibar are found on the East coast of the Island at Matemwe, a charming and safe village some 50 km from the capital and airport.
The white pristine beaches stretch for miles to both sides of the Villa.
Matemwe is a little pitoresque fisherman village. Every morning the fishermen bring the catch of the day to the vibrant local market. We can even arrange for you to go fishing with the locals on traditional boats, as they have been doing for hundreds of years.
Staff:
Villa Turquoise is a fully serviced holiday rental villa, the staff are there to make sure you can relax and enjoy your holidays. The staff are fluent in english and are trained to give you comfort and privacy.
There are two housekeepers who will do all the housekeeping for you: cleanining the house, do your laundry, dishwashing, setting and cleaning tables including tableservice, providing towels and changing bedlinen. Both maids are fluent in english.
Our housemanager will welcome you upon arrival and show you the house and all amenities, she will be available throughout your stay to assist with catering, shopping, excursions, local events etc
We have a skipper available who will take you for diving, fishing or snorkeling trips in and beyond the lagoon with the powerboat.
